The combined electronic accelerator and brake system, specially developed for people with quadriplegia, is designed so that it can be adjusted and adapted position, angulation, to the specific needs of people with high injuries and high motor disability of the upper limbs.
To do so, there are three adjustment points, two on the lever and one on the handle.
Inside the third adjustment point, a potentiometer was inserted to activate the acceleration, being only necessary to turn the handle downwards. To brake, it is only necessary to push the lever forward.
On the inside of the handle, there are three additional buttons for operating the horn and direction indicators, and it also has a brake function to facilitate starts on accentuated declines.
