UPFRONT - front row seating for wheelchair passengers
When, as a wheelchair user, you want to drive independently or ride in the front row as a passenger, Upfront is the perfect solution for you.
Lowering the floor allows more space inside the vehicle. The low floor doesn't make it difficult to manoeuvre, which means that bumps when moving the car won't be a problem. Thanks to the low floor, most wheelchairs can easily access the vehicle and position themselves near the steering wheel.
Depending on the brand and model of car, it may be possible to fit two wheelchairs side by side in the front row.
The original front seats are removable, mounted on a structure with transport wheels. So if another person with no limitations wishes to drive, they are easily returned to their original seat. The conversion to create an UpFront is possible for models with a length of 4.75m and a wheelbase of 2.97m. Available for both petrol and diesel models.
The solutions you need to help you drive while seated in your wheelchair vary according to your needs, any restrictions you may have on your driving licence and whether you are legally entitled to do so. Our team will carefully assist you in choosing the most suitable products/transformations for your needs.
